Dr. Pravin Sambhaji Misal has worked with the diagnostic imaging practice in Akluj since it began as Mediscan Diagnostic Center in 2015. The practice continued as Advanced Mediscan Imaging & Fetal Medicine Center Pvt. Ltd. in 2024.
His focus is on accurate, clinically useful imaging and clear communication with patients and referring doctors.

PATIENT GUIDE
Before your scan.
Preparation varies by examination. Follow the instructions given at the time of booking.
Ultrasound abdomen
Fasting may be required depending on the examination. Confirm instructions while booking.
Pelvic / obstetric ultrasound
A full bladder may be required for selected examinations. Our staff will guide you.
CT with contrast
Renal-function testing may be required. Inform the team about prior contrast allergy or relevant medical history.
MRI
Inform staff about pacemakers, implants, metal clips, pregnancy, prior surgery or claustrophobia before the scan.
X-ray
Inform the radiography team if you are pregnant or pregnancy is suspected.
